Nasal Helm (#1 flared nose-guard)

The Spangenhelm was a popular design through out the middle ages. It consisted of metal strapping that had steel (or in some cases leather sections ) riveted in place. All our helms are made from 16 gauge steel and are webbed and come with adjustable chin strap. This model has a straight nasal bar and reflects the designed commonly used by Normans.

These helmets are suitable for reenactors!
