The 14th century was the beginning of the use of plate armor in Europe. It was a troubled time with both the Hundred Years War and the development new deadlier weaponry. The first form of plate armor was plates of metal sewn into a piece of leather, as reproduced by our 14th Splint Protection. This way, it is fairly easy to both put on and store the armor.
